He was well versed and knowledgeable in his craft. He took the time to get to know me and my history about the multiple surgeries I had. He is kind and easy to talk to. I love a good small town chiropractor. They are the best! Electrical stimulation and massage was done prior to the adjustment that made a world of difference. This is the place to go Ocala. I have a lot of experience with chiropractic services back in Ohio and I worked for one years ago. As a retired Chiropractor for 40+ years of experience I rate him five out of five, but if I could, I’d rate him a 10+. He sits, he talks with you. He wants to know exactly what’s going on how you’ve been feeling if you’re feeling better than the last time.. Most importantly, he listens to what you’re saying. Living in top of the world Off of route 200, to get to his office, there were other chiropractors, but in no way shape or form do they compare with the professionalism of his office, the cleanliness and most important the friendliness of the people that support him. Mike Daniel17 July 2025I went to Swinson Chiropractic and could not straighten up, was in terrible pain and using rolling walker hunched over. They have a lumbar decompression machine (DRX9000) that I believe is only FDA approved device for lumbar decompression within 100 miles. This table isn’t like you see in almost all chiropractor offices. I have had history of back issues that prevented me from golfing. Dr. Swinson and his staff not only got me walking upright again, without pain but also playing golf pain free. I developed drop foot from compressed spine and walking was cautious as afraid of tripping, tried Physical Therapy, assisted foot exercises - well again the team at Swinson Chiropactic has my drop foot completely resolved when everything else failed. I now enjoy walking dog in morning, riding bike, exercising, and playing golf. Please check with them if suffering - they will let you know if you are good candidate for their treatments! The doctor was unlike most in that he spent time talking, listening, explaining, and told me he didn’t think I needed treatment told me an OTC treatment that would save me $$ and to come back and see him if I continued to have symptoms. I was greeted in a friendly manner by a warm and welcoming receptionist. I was impressed with one of the chiropractic assistants who took my vitals and general health info. She told me the next steps to my first visit and answered my questions. I met with Dr. Swinson and he discussed my history with me in depth. He was very easy to talk to and made me feel very confident in his recommendations for treatment. Next I met another Assistant who provided 2 pre- treatments to prep my actual chiropractic adjustment. Dr Swinson gave me my initial hands on treatment and I have to say - I felt so much better walking out the door than I did walking in. Then, to a tens and heat treatment. The visit ends with Dr. Swinson. He asks and answers my question, and always inquires as to how I felt from the previous adjustment. After several attempts to find a chiropractor that would take time to read notes from a previous accident case, Dr. Swinson did just that! He is thoughtful and thorough. He has had his staff give me massage treatments on my back and lower back down to my lower spine as well as a machine that does a good massage on my back. I feel like a million dollars already. To say I was suffering daily and orthopedic providers were ZERO help, is an understatement! I *barely* walked into Dr Swinson’s office begging for help and they were happy to be of service. The front desk girls are amazing. Respectful, kind, courteous, helpful, ALWAYS with a smile. The treatment team is also stellar! Great attitude, friendly, and make me feel comfortable. My first visit with Dr Swinson was incredibly thorough. He sat down and listened to everything I had to say and I never felt rushed or dismissed. His bedside manner and knowledge of his craft are top notch! Fast forward to today. My pain is well-managed with regular adjustments, TENS treatments, and WITHOUT ANY MEDICATIONS! Thomas Morton24 April 2023I ended up in the emergency room with excruciating lower back pain around 10/22. Later, I noticed that my health insurance covered a chiropractor and by coincidence this office was the first hit. Dr. Swinson recommend the decompression machine (DRX9000) and boy I'm I glad I tried it! The majority of my pain is gone and I'm about 90% recovered almost 4 months later. While the adjustments by Dr. Swinson are covered, the DRX9000 isn't and can be quite expensive. Having said that, I'm able to work and get my day to day stuff done. The office staff are super friendly. The only bad thing that I can say about my experience is the room where they do the electrolysis is really small. I felt cramped in a small room sitting side by side with total strangers. People are leaning forward and lifting up the backs of their shirts and you may end up looking down into an area where you shouldn't. I try my best to avert my eyes to the floor. This office can feel cramped and small and at times I felt like my privacy was being violated, but Dr. Swinson is probably trying to keep his costs down. I also did my own physical therapy by walking and swimming in tandem with the treatments. Overall, I feel better and would recommend if you're able to afford visiting.Posted on Google
